Skrovnesløkta is a lighthouse with great views by the sailing entrance to Båtsfjord, and also known as a boat cemetery from the old sailors days – and we are happy to guide you there!

By the lighthouse there's a birdwatching shelter with glass walls, which offers us a perfect chance to observe some wildlife and it's also a cozy place to enjoy a light picnic.

We take bikes from the hotel and bike to the beginning of the hiking track. To reach the track we bike about 10-15minutes and can leave our bikes to wait as we take the rest of the trip by foot. The hiking part takes about 30 minutes - and the terrain is easy and quite even all the way, which makes this trip suitable for any fitness level.

You'll have a nice viewpoint over the Barents Sea, and you might even observe eagles and seals, if we get lucky!
