Description

We would love to welcome you to our 1 - hour long wildlife safari to Syltefjordtauran Bird Cliff, which is known to be one of the biggest bird cliffs in Norway. Syltefjord is a fjord filled with wildlife, surrounded by arctic tundra and steep, rocky cliffs. Along the route, you will see abandoned ruins of the old fishing villages, wildlife (with wings and some with fins) and our local guide will tell fascinating cultural stories from the area, many of them related to the Second World War and life in the coastal villages in the arctic.
Enjoy the breathtaking scenery, silence, and interesting stories our local guides share. Our boat has a maximum capacity of 11 passengers, and this tour is suitable for a whole family. We take you closer to nature and spots for wildlife along the way - and will always make time for photo stops.

Syltefjordstauran bird cliff has one of Norway's largest colonies of Kittiwakes and Northern Gannets also have a colony there. You might also observe Atlantic puffins, sea eagles, guillemots, and razorbills. On the sea, we often are lucky to see harbor porpoises, whales, and seals. Please remember, that each tour is different and unique - and what comes to wildlife - we can not guarantee which species we will see, but we can guarantee an excellent trip with us!
